THE CUSHWELL WEBRING

five sister sites in spirit. each one a small altar to a related discipline. all founded between 2016 and 2019, all in good standing, all running on geocities mirrors that nobody can find anymore. members: 5.

  1. SITE 01

    the Bratz preservation society

    bratz-pres.geocities.archive

a meticulously documented archive of every Bratz doll, every line, every accessory release between 2001 and 2007 — cross-referenced with what the Cushwell Girls were wearing the same week. the only place on the internet that takes Yasmin’s outfit choices seriously.

  2. SITE 02

    high-noon hennessy fan club

    noon-henny.geocities.archive

a fellowship of women who order Hennessy at 11:47am on a Tuesday and look the bartender directly in the eye while doing it. founder claims Britelle as patron saint, with citations. the comments section is unsearchable on purpose.

  3. SITE 03

the official taekwondo bow ponytail archive

    bow-pony.geocities.archive

a single-purpose research site documenting every documented appearance of a satin pink bow tied to a national-champion ponytail at a sanctioned tournament between 1998 and 2009. Chanté appears 14 times. she does not respond to interview requests.

  4. SITE 04

    leg wrestling: a sportsbook

    leg-book.geocities.archive

live odds, regional brackets, and a spreadsheet of every Pacific Northwest leg-wrestling sash awarded since 2014. accepts no real wagers. settles every bet anyway. Britelle’s sash is on display in the “hall of inevitability” with a velvet rope around it.

  5. SITE 05

    von dutch revival quarterly

    vd-quarterly.geocities.archive

a four-times-a-year zine documenting every credible Von Dutch sighting in the wild, with field photographers in three timezones. the leopard trucker cap section is its own department. the editor’s note in every issue is the same sentence: “Britelle was right.”
